Registered Nurse (RN)Shift: Preferred hours are 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM; flexible options available for 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM. Choices of 4x10 or 3x12 schedules may also be arranged.Overview: The competent nurse operates independently in a clinical setting and demonstrates awareness of relevant aspects of patient care. This role involves providing both routine and complex care while effectively managing the contingencies of clinical nursing. The nurse is responsible for implementing care plans and delegating tasks to optimize patient outcomes.Responsibilities:Meets the expectations of applicable competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.Utilizes the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.Addressees the increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.Administers medications and treatments according to established protocols and monitors for side effects and treatment effectiveness.Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and comprehensively.Assesses learning needs and educates patients, family members, and caregivers while identifying issues and available resources.Job Requirements:Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a related nursing specialty is required.Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (AHA only) are required.License: Current RN License in the state of Texas or a compact state.Note: This position does not have a temp-to-perm opportunity available.Client Details City Longview State TX
