Fort Smith, AR, US 3 days ago Requisition ID: 4539 Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Hourly Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Coordinator to support our accounting team in a fast-paced work environment. This position plays an important role in supporting accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, cash application, account reconciliation, and other accounting functions. The ideal candidate is organized, accurate, comfortable working with financial information, and able to manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines. Location: Fort Smith, Arkansas Position Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $20.00 to $22 an hour Work Schedule : 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Monday thru Friday) Work Arrangement: Onsite What You’ll Do Enter and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable activities. Post and apply customer payments and cash receipts. Manage customer portals and online billing systems. Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies. Support billing activities and customer account maintenance. Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel. Communicate with internal team members regarding invoices, payments, billing, and account-related questions. Maintain accurate and organized accounting records. What We’re Looking For At least one year of experience in an office, accounting, billing, or similar work environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to organize tasks and manage multiple priorities. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
