Full-time Team Lead (Keyholder)

As part of the New Balance Retail Leadership Team, full time Retail Team Leads assist with duties such as opening/closing the store, driving results, operational duties and delivering a world class experience for our guests. You will lead by example through New Balance's Core Competencies.

Major responsibilities include:

• Being a positive leadership presence on the sales floor while communicating and coaching professionally with all associates
• Being results driven in achieving our store key performance indicators through training and development of our associates
• Assisting store manager in creating the schedule and taking the lead in floor moves
• Delivering a great guest experience utilizing our GUEST service model
• Being operationally sound, opening/closing the store, inventory control, operational procedures
• Being involved in recruiting/interviewing/hiring of top talent
• Following safety and reporting regulations, including proper lifting procedures

Requirements for success include:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2 years' retail supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent educational experience
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of a thriving retail business, which may entail working on weekends and holidays
• Ability to: lift 4 lbs. frequently; lift maximum 8 lbs. occasionally; kneel or squat frequently; move boxes of product up to 50 lbs (with assistance if necessary); stand for extended periods of time; climb ladders occasionally; climb and descend stairs frequently (depending on location)

The Grove, CA Retail Only Pay Range: $19.75 - $24.65 - $29.60 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
