Role Description

• Assess patients from diverse ages, utilizing a combination of standardized evaluations and observational insights.
• Design tailored treatment strategies that focus on achieving immediate results while addressing ongoing communication, cognitive, and swallowing issues.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, fluency, voice clarity, and swallowing function.
• Work in synergy with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and loved ones to formulate comprehensive care plans.
• Provide education for patients and families, fostering continued progress outside scheduled sessions.
• Participate in periodic inpatient evaluations and treatments, promoting seamless care across the patient journey.
• Ensure meticulous documentation that complies with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Engage in ongoing education and peer collaboration to stay current with the latest developments in the field.

Educational Background

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
