Clinical Pharmacist II

The Clinical Pharmacist at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland works at the center of in-patient interdisciplinary care, collaborating directly with prescribers and mentoring pharmacy support staff within a 483-bed hospital setting that provides a full range of medical, surgical, and specialty services. Part-time schedule with full-time impact: This role offers a flexible Part Time schedule with potential to transition to Full Time. Responsibilities: Oversee preparation and dispensing of medications, perform medication order verification and computer entry in the pharmacy information system Provide clinical consultation to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on drug selection, dosing, and interactions Identify, recommend, resolve, and prevent medication-related problems through direct interventions with prescribers Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required Current Registered Pharmacist licensure in the State of Maryland required New graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply; inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience preferred for experienced candidates Pay Range: $55.25 to $84.75 Based On Experience Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the first of the month after hire, plus wellness programs and mental health support 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, pension, and life and disability insurance Tuition reimbursement toward advanced degrees and specialty certifications Generous paid time off, fitness discounts, and free on-site parking About Sinai Hospital Sinai Hospital of Baltimore is a nationally recognized academic medical center, a designated Level II Trauma Center, and the largest community hospital in Maryland.
