Metrology Engineer

The successful candidate will manage plant-wide gauging and equipment database, communicate with departments and suppliers for gauging/equipment related issues, perform CMM measurement of gauging, prepare gages for shipping to managed service provider, and support managed service provider for external calibrations Calibration and repair of gauging and equipment Manage plant-wide gauging and equipment database Communicate with departments and the supplier for gauging/equipment related issues CMM measurement of gauging Prepare gages for shipping to the managed service provider Support managed service provider for external calibrations Additional Qualifications: Bachelor's/Associate degree in related technical field or equivalent experience 2-4 Years of experience in a quality role GD&T knowledge, Calibration knowledge, Measuring skills with various equipment Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
