Position: Electrophysiology Medical Assistant (MA-C)
Location: Seattle, WA
This is a temporary to hire opportunity available exclusively for local candidates. Candidates who are not willing to join the clinic permanently at the end of the contract will not be considered.
Job Details
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 AM - 05:00 PM), Monday to Friday
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Experience Required: At least 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant; Cardiology clinic experience is preferred, but candidates with primary care experience will also be considered.
- First-Timers Accepted: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: No
- On-call Requirement: No
- Certification Required: BLS certification
- Floating Requirement: Possible between clinics within skillset
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is necessary; public transportation will not suffice.
- Administrative Duties Include:
- Medication refills
- Chart preparation
- In-basket assistance
- Electrocardiograms (EKGs)
- Heart monitor placement
- Post-operative calls
Facility Information
This position is located within a Cardiology Clinic focusing on Electrophysiology. Experience with EPIC charting is required. Attire is casual; any basic color scrubs are acceptable.
Special Notes
- Local candidates are defined as residing within a 50-mile radius of Seattle, WA.
- All candidates must agree to work three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
- Travel may be required to nearby clinics in Edmonds, Ballard, Redmond, Bellevue, and Issaquah.
- Additional requirements will be communicated during the interview process.
