Maintenance Technician / MRT | Greenfield, IN

-Pay: $30.00 - $45.00

-Location: Greenfield, IN

-Shift: Must be open to days or nights

*Position Summary:

• The Mechatronic & Robotic Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automated material handling systems, conveyors, robotics, and related controls in a highly automated distribution environment. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and safety.

*Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, repair, and maintain automated conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on conveyors, robotics, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment issues using blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
• Perform battery changes and preventative maintenance on industrial batteries.
• Complete work orders, PM documentation, and equipment downtime logs.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and automated equipment to minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety standards and equipment-specific procedures.
• Utilize Microsoft Office for reporting, communication, and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with operations teams to maximize equipment performance.

*Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance in an industrial environment.
• 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, and controls.
• 2+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2+ years of experience working with electrical and electronic systems.
• 2+ years of experience following industrial safety practices.
• 1+ year of experience troubleshooting material handling equipment.
• 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience maintaining conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
