Production Technician

Production Technician As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, minor mechanical repairs, and equipment assembly. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with cars, tractors, diesel trucks, or industrial manufacturing equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and sub-assemblies for machine builders, perform system testing, and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure proper functionality. Additionally, you will read and interpret blueprints, maintain accurate documentation of work performed, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and minor mechanical repairs. Assemble equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues. Repair mechanical equipment and sub-assemblies for machine builders. Conduct system testing and quality assurance checks. Read and interpret blueprints. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Essential Skills Experience with low voltage systems. Proficiency in using hand tools. Ability to pull wire and perform related tasks. Mechanically inclined with the ability to turn a wrench. Experience with assembly, hydraulics, diesel, and mechanical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanically inclined. Hard worker. Hands-on experience with relevant equipment. Work Environment The work environment consists of two shifts: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday and 10:30pm-7:00am Sunday-Thursday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
