Full Stack Vue/Node Engineer

Position is Remote but Candidate MUST BE based in Atlanta, GA We're seeking a Senior Full-Stack Vue / Node Engineer who thrives on building scalable, high-quality software and owning features end-to-end. In this role, you'll design and implement modern web applications using Vue.js on the frontend and Node.js on the backend , contributing to both product development and technical architecture. You will work in a high-autonomy engineering environment where senior developers are expected to take ownership of systems, drive technical decisions, and mentor other engineers. Core Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain full-stack features from concept through production Develop modern React-based frontend applications with strong performance and usability Build scalable backend APIs and services using Node.js Design and implement RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions Improve system reliability, scalability, and maintainability across the platform Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team-wide engineering standards and best practices Evaluate and adopt modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows Core Requirements Technical Skills 5–8+ years of professional software development experience in production environments Strong experience building modern Vue.js applications, including Composition API, component architecture, state management (Pinia, Vuex, or similar), and reusable UI patterns Strong backend development experience with Node.js and modern backend frameworks (such as Express, NestJS, or Fastify) Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs Experience working with service-oriented or microservices architectures Experience building event-driven or asynchronous application workflows Strong proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server), including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning Experience working with ORM or query libraries (such as Prisma, TypeORM, Sequelize, or Knex) Experience with Redis for caching, session management, pub/sub messaging, or performance optimization Ability to design, implement, and ship full-stack features independently Experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS environments Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, Lambda, or related cloud-native services Experience working with Docker and containerized application development Understanding of distributed systems, messaging, and event-driven architectures Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment workflows AI-Assisted Development Experience Experience working with AI-assisted development tools, including: Using AI coding tools to accelerate development workflows Applying sound judgment on when AI-generated solutions are appropriate Helping teammates adopt AI tools effectively and responsibly Comfortable working with modern developer environments including: Docker and containerized environments AWS-hosted infrastructure and cloud-native services Command-line tooling and developer workflows We’re looking for engineers who: Take ownership of systems and outcomes, not just tickets Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code Understand tradeoffs between speed, quality, and scalability Are comfortable making technical decisions in ambiguous situations Are excited about leveraging AI to enhance the software development lifecycle Help raise the engineering bar for the team Bonus Experience Experience with AWS services including EventBridge, Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, or CloudWatch Experience building and supporting applications running on EC2-based infrastructure Experience implementing Redis caching strategies and performance optimization Experience working in microservices or distributed systems architectures Exposure to modern Vue tooling such as Nuxt, Vite, Pinia, or related ecosystem technologies Experience implementing automated testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing) Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK Experience building AI-enabled applications or integrating AI services into production systems Why This Role High ownership and technical autonomy Opportunity to shape engineering practices and architecture Work in an AI-forward development environment Build modern full-stack applications and AI-enabled systems Collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement #J-18808-Ljbffr SOLTECH
