PM Houseperson - Mountain Shadows

Responsibilities Follow payroll and key sign‑out procedures. Keep all guest corridors neat, vacuumed and dusted. Clean mirrors, furniture, ash urns, elevators and doors. Inventory and maintain the cleanliness of all linen closets and empty trash. Assist the housekeepers as necessary. Resupply guest room supplies in the linen closet and armoires daily. Deliver and pick‑up guest request items when assigned (e.g., irons, ironing boards). Make up and deliver cribs and rollaways. Remove trash and soiled linen from the guest rooms. Deliver linen from the laundry to the floors, including armoires, as needed. Spot clean furniture and carpets as instructed. Maintain the cleanliness of the stairwells and service elevator areas by sweeping, mopping and dusting. Assist in moving beds and furniture as requested. Offer assistance to guests when requested or needed. Report any maintenance deficiencies to housekeeping. Assist in putting on bed skirts, turning mattresses, removing or hanging sheers and drapes. Employ proper use and maintenance of all equipment and supplies. Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation. Complete any project assigned by the Director or Assistant Director of Housekeeping. Qualifications Prior hotel experience preferred. Must adhere to occupational safety and health practices, including wearing personal protective equipment when required. Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, extend arms, scrub, bend, stoop, walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. Ability to push, pull or lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs. and heavy furniture up to 100 lbs. Can work in hot, cold or wet extreme weather conditions. Hearing and visual ability to observe and anticipate guest needs. Appearance must always be neat, clean and professional; proper name badge and uniform must be worn at all times. Physical Demands Ability to stand, sit, kneel continually; extend arms, scrub, bend, stoop, stand and walk for extended periods; push, pull or lift loads up to 50 lbs; push or pull furniture up to 100 lbs; work in extreme weather conditions. Appearance Requirements Proper professional attire required in compliance with appearance guidelines set forth in the Employee Handbook. Appearance must always be neat, clean and professional. Name badge and proper uniform must be worn at all times. Compensation Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years of experience, certifications and specific location.
