Key Elements of the Job:

Participates in the service, setup and removal of food and beverage during banquet functions

Maintains knowledge of menu items to be able to confidently describe food during plated and buffet meals along with receptions

Communicates guest orders including any special needs, dietary restrictions or requests to the kitchen

Delivers food and beverage to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure food quality

Anticipates guests' needs and responds promptly with utmost care and attention

Ascertains satisfaction and offers suggestions in enhancing the guest experience

Breakdowns, cleans and set-up of tables, food buffets and beverage stations

Ensures Four Seasons service standards of excellence are achieved

Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

Strong food & beverage knowledge is required

Food Handler Card and MAST Alcohol Permit is required at time of hire

Maintain ownership of duties through hard work and discipline

Flexible scheduling requiring availability of morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and holidays

Banquet experience preferred

Bartending skills is a plus

Positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach

Strong work ethic which includes a drive to grow, improve and learn everyday

Energetic approach to his/her craft

Calm composure under pressure
