Title
Registered Nurse - Orthopedics

Schedule
Shift: 3x12-hour nights

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Ortho experience required
- State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
- Certifications: BLS, NIHSS, ACLS preferred
- Charting experience: Epic preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative care and trauma management.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safe and effective delivery.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and communicating with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families on orthopedic procedures, recovery, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and manage any potential complications.

Compliance / Notes
- 100-mile radius rule - no local candidates.
- Orientation modules completed onsite; prior staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler.
