Job Title: CSR / Sales Support Specialist (Aerospace)
Location: Commerce, CA (onsite)
Duration: Temporary (3-6 months) with potential to extend
Pay Rate: $30- $35 per hour

Job Summary

The CSR / Sales Support Specialist provides administrative and data support to the Customer Service and Sales teams. This role focuses on accurate order entry, quotation support, documentation, and maintaining customer and sales records within ERP and customer systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with data in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and maintain customer orders, quotations, and pricing data using ERP systems
• Assist with preparation and processing of customer quotes and proposals following established guidelines
• Enter, update, and track purchase orders (POs), RFQs, and sales documentation
• Maintain accurate sales records, spreadsheets, and reports
• Support Customer Service Representatives by ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Register and navigate customer portals/websites for orders, changes, and RFQs
• Track order status and assist with shipment updates as needed
• Assist Accounting with documentation related to invoicing and Pro Forma invoices
• Identify and report data discrepancies or issues to appropriate internal teams
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company ethical and compliance standards
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process efficiencies

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree or coursework in business, administration, or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in data entry, sales support, customer service, or administrative roles preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with purchase orders, quotes, and sales documentation
• Experience using ERP systems preferred (AS400 / MAPICS a plus)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
