ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain a consistent high level of food quality and guest service. Maintain cleanliness of all back of the house area. Comply with all food production, sanitation, storage, and handling procedures for all food products. Technical skills of portion control and culinary service standards. Supports day‑to‑day operations of the bakery department. Proficiently fills out production sheets and keeps production logs. Assists in completion of food ordering and inventory control. Organizes and maintains food storage areas daily, rotating and utilizing all food products. Maintains excellent communication of daily menu items to all bakery personnel. Maintains consistency in food presentation, taste and temperature. Maintains a clean, neat and sanitized work area. Shows excellent customer relation abilities. Ensures a safe working environment for all co‑workers. Ability to write prep lists. Ensures all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working condition before use. Promotes professional work habits that develop respect and return business from customers. Seek opportunities to minimize expenses and increase employee productivity without sacrificing guest services. Communicates with co‑workers respectfully and follows directions from superiors. Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to departmental and company policies. Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner. Provides an outstanding example and credit to Downstream Casino Resort. Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times; maintains a professional work environment with supervisors and staff. Attends all necessary training meetings. Assists in other projects, as directed. Hours are determined by a 24‑hour schedule. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma Adherence to health and safety regulations Knowledge of food and labor cost Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (preferred) Good arithmetic skills Good attention to detail Ability to read and follow recipes Remain calm in hectic circumstances and meet strict deadlines Previous experience in a kitchen environment Team player Well‑groomed and professional appearance Excellent communication skills Read, write, speak, and understand English Respond to visual and oral cues Interact effectively with customers and employees Resolve problems/conflicts diplomatically and tactfully Approved for and maintain a valid gaming license Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required Background investigation and drug screening result in a favorable outcome

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation and able to maneuver to all areas of the casino Tolerate environments containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations Operate equipment such as cutting boards, mixers, pourers, knives, and other necessary equipment Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast‑paced casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations Lift 50 lbs, squat, stand or bend repeatedly, and work in extreme weather conditions The Downstream Casino Resort adheres to all applicable Resolutions of the Quapaw Nation.
