Our Geotechnical Services team in the Hilton Head, SC / Savannah, GA area is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to provide expert Geotechnical and Civil Engineering services across a diverse portfolio of clients. In this role, you’ll manage all aspects of geotechnical project coordination and client engagement, while conducting engineering evaluations and calculations for shallow and deep foundations, ground improvement alternatives, retaining walls, slope stability (embankments and levees), pavement sections, and slabs-on-grade. You’ll prepare signed and sealed final geotechnical submittals as Engineer of Record and have the opportunity to serve as the geotechnical lead on multi-discipline design projects. On this team, you’ll play a critical role in field operations—providing oversight of construction monitoring for earthworks such as mass grading, drilled shafts, driven piles, stone columns, subsurface pressure grouting, pavement systems, and vibration monitoring. You’ll oversee subcontractors and interpret specialty laboratory testing data when the need arises.
