Highlights: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) specializing in critical cardiac patients 10-bed unit with average daily census of 7 patients, providing focused critical care Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams Advanced critical care environment managing ECMO, IABP, post-cardiac surgery patients, and complex cardiac drips 36 hours of orientation provided to ensure successful onboarding Opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patient populations in a collaborative care setting Requirements: Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission) Current ACLS and BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred Previous travel nursing experience preferred Epic charting system experience required Experience with 1:2 patient ratios preferred Proficiency in critical care skills including arterial line management, ventilated patient care, central line management, continuous IV sedation, ECMO care, cardiac drip titration, vasoactive drip management, and dysrhythmia interpretation Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing Why Join Us?
