Drivers are responsible for transporting Marquette students, staff, employees, and affiliates of the university. The driver is an ambassador for the university as well as a representative of the Department of Campus Safety. While conducting transports, drivers will also observe and report any suspicious or illegal activity that they may witness. Duties and Responsibilities Ensure your passengers are transported safely across campus. Drive around campus during your entire shift and watch for new calls to be assigned to you. Responsible for picking up callers as they are assigned to you. Required to pick up and drop off passengers to their assigned location. Maintain focus and transport passengers safely to their destinations. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License with a good driving record. Ability to multi-task and think creatively. Friendly demeanor and interest with working on a college campus. Good memorization skills to learn campus and become familiar with the addresses and buildings within the boundaries of the patrol zone.
