Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician II (Associate) who will be responsible for performing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting and repairs on production machinery in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. This role supports daily operations, performs preventive and predictive maintenance, and ensures equipment reliability to minimize downtime and maintain safe operations.

Responsibilities:
Equipment Troubleshooting & Repair
- Perform welding, cutting, and basic fabrication as needed.
- Use electrical/electronic testing equipment to identify issues.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC‑controlled systems.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Document maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Perform scheduled PM and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and improve equipment performance.
Equipment Installation & Upkeep
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and production equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical drawings.
- Operate hand tools and shop tools (drill press, grinders, band saws, hydraulic press, etc.)
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Follow lockout/tagout, machine guarding, and all safety procedures.
- Support compliance with manufacturing quality and safety standards (IATF, ISO)
Team Support & Communication
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Assist in training junior maintenance associates.
- Communicate equipment status to supervisors and team members.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Proficiency with hand tools and shop equipment.
- Welding and fabrication experience (gas/electric)
- Technical degree or equivalent education/experience.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
