By joining the DHR team, you would serve as a trusted Human Resource Business Partner I, providing integrated and innovative human resources solutions for the Department of Health and Welfare. This classified position will operate under the guidance of DHR leadership and will be located at the Department of Health and Welfare in Boise, Idaho. About the Agency: To learn more about the agency this position will support, please visit the following links: Summary: To provide human resource services in one or more of the following areas: consultation and training on human resource related topics, application review and candidate testing, recruitment, job analysis and classification, benefits and leave administration, relevant program administration; perform related work. This position may provide support to multiple agencies. Responsibilities:- Assisting employees with inquiries related to benefits, LUMA HRIS profile changes
- Conducting research in a variety of HR areas, reporting, and making recommendations to management
- Recommending personnel policy and procedure changes and updates
- Reviewing personnel actions and employment activities for compliance with federal, state and agency rules, policies, and procedures
- Tracking and processing FMLA leave requests, leave donations, and service requests
- Maintaining electronic personnel files
- Administering changes in LUMA HRIS in relation to new hires, transfers, promotions, position changes, pay rate updates, etc.
- Drafting and sending correspondence as needed
- Coordinating, conducting, and facilitating employee orientation and other human resource training
- Performing or overseeing preparation and submittal of personnel, and benefits documents
- Assisting with First Report of Injury and Worker's Compensation Claims
- Human resource administration;

- Data analytics
