Associate Director, Business Insights Lead

AbbVie seeks an Associate Director of Business Insights to serve as the primary analytical partner to Oncology and Neuroscience leadership. This role translates complex business questions into data-driven analyses that inform senior-level decisions on study design, site strategy, and portfolio planning.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary analytical advisor to Oncology and Neuroscience Sr. Directors on portfolio decisions
- Lead end-to-end insight delivery from hypothesis generation through recommendations
- Own and evolve analytical products including site allocation models and enrollment scenario planning
- Identify and escalate structural gaps and unaddressed risks in assigned portfolios
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior analysts while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Finance, Analytics, Business, or quantitative field preferred
- 10+ years business analytics, strategy, or client-facing analytical experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare
- Demonstrated experience managing Director-level and above stakeholder relationships
- Strong analytical skills translating ambiguous business questions into structured analyses
- Proficiency with SQL, Power BI, Excel, and data visualization tools
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams across therapeutic areas independently
- Familiarity with clinical trial operations or drug development processes
