We're looking for an Account Manager who can own a book of business end to end: the strategy, the follow-through, and the trust that keeps clients renewing year after year. About the Role A year from now, the person in this seat will be the reason our clients trust S3 with more of their business. You'll know your accounts inside and out, you'll have built relationships strong enough to weather a bumpy campaign or a tight deadline, and clients will come to you first not because they have to, but because you've earned it. You'll operate with real autonomy: making decisions, solving problems, and owning outcomes, not just tasks in a culture grounded in positivity and true difference makers in the world! What You'll Do Own a book of business — serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts, from onboarding through renewal. Set the standard for responsiveness — acknowledge every client inquiry within 24 hours or less, and drive it to resolution from there. Translate client goals into action — work with our creative and strategy teams to turn what a client needs into what actually gets delivered. Spot growth opportunities — identify where existing accounts could expand in scope, and bring those opportunities forward. Get ahead of problems — flag risk early, communicate proactively, and keep small issues from becoming big ones. Report on account health — track campaign performance and client satisfaction, and know what story the numbers are telling. Think and act like an owner — bring an entrepreneurial mindset to how you manage your accounts, your time, and your priorities. What We're Looking For Required: 5+ years of account management experience, ideally within a marketing or advertising agency. A demonstrated track record of managing and growing a portfolio of client relationships. Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can represent the agency well in front of any client. An entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable making decisions, solving problems, and owning results without heavy oversight. Ability to work hybrid from our Fenton, MO or Washington, MO office as needed. Preferred: Experience specifically in digital marketing account management (paid media, social, SEO, or similar). Familiarity with project management tools and CRM systems.
