Managing Director

The client is seeking a Managing Director to establish and lead a strategic vision for affordable housing and voucher-program initiatives. In this direct-hire, onsite role in Miami, Florida, the Managing Director will guide the development of new programs, partnerships, and operational models that expand housing access and improve resident outcomes, including early-stage planning and alignment of resources to support future initiatives. The Managing Director will provide senior oversight for Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) initiatives, project-based vouchers, and related rental assistance programs. The role includes advancing strategies to improve voucher utilization, landlord participation, and participant experience, while strengthening program compliance, quality, and performance through data-informed decision-making. The leader will champion resident-centered program design that reflects community needs and supports long-term stability. The Managing Director will build and maintain high-level relationships across public housing authorities, government agencies, nonprofit partners, developers, and community stakeholders, and will represent the organization in regional and national housing conversations and policy discussions. The position also involves cultivating cross-sector collaborations to expand resources and drive systemic change, providing leadership and culture-building across internal teams, and supporting organizational growth through capacity planning, staffing strategies, operational development, and budgeting for emerging initiatives.
