Strategic Initiatives Manager

Job Requirements Sweetwater, the nation's number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is seeking to add a detailed and dedicated Strategic Initiatives Manager to our growing Sales team! In this role, you will report directly to our Chief Sales Officer and help us drive initiatives around strategic alignments. You will be a key factor in coordinating projects across multiple departments, so if you love being the person in the middle of multiple important initiatives, then we'd love to speak with you!Job ResponsibilitiesResponsible for connecting daily project goals directly to the long-term mission and business outcomes for SweetwaterDesign clear project plans, set key performance indicators (KPIs), and establish realistic timelines for deliveryHelp prepare our company's Operating Systems processes, and work with stakeholders to create business plans for each strategic growth areaMeet with business sponsors and executive leaders to report on progress, risk management, and help resolve roadblocksMonitor growth of strategic projects, evaluate data trends, and pivot strategies when business needs changeAct as a right-hand to our Chief Sales Officer to drive project initiatives forward and provide feedback on their statusQualifications5+ years of proven Project Management experience Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Business, or related field3-5+ years of experience as a previous Executive Assistant preferredStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to cross-functionally influence and build relationships with stakeholders across the organizationAbility to multitask and handle multiple high-priority projects or assignments at at timeExcellent written and verbal communicationHigh attention to detailSweetwater “Ideal” Team-PlayerWOWs The Customer – You possess a deep passion and desire for creating amazing customer & colleague experiencesGets Things Done – You have a great work ethic and move through tasks with a sense of urgencyObsesses over the Details – You are committed to paying attention to the detailsDrives Continuous Improvement – You are always focusing on effective and efficient work and ways to get betterDevelops the Future – You are committed to the pursuit of growing personally & professionally and have a focus on bringing your colleagues along in that journeyWe function best as a unified team, so relocation to our state-of-the-art campus in Fort Wayne, IN is required.
