Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist position is responsible for supporting and collaborating with the Human Resources Advisor on HR-related services including, but not limited to, policy creation. conducting audits, assisting with leave administration, setting up initial client materials and general client needs as it relates to employee relations. This position is an integral part of the HR Services Team and will act as a client liaison in the absence of the Human Resources Advisor to assist with client needs as necessary. This position will report to the Human Resources Advisor or the Manager, HR Services. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Assists HR Advisor to support client needs, encompassing all aspects of the employee life cycle from hello to goodbye. Collaborates with the HR Advisor to assess, organize, plan, develop, and implement client's HR service needs. Provides administrative support, document creation and coordination, data compilation and reporting, and preparation for clients projects. Assists HR Advisor with evaluating and writing HR policies and procedures on behalf of clients. Supports HR Advisor by conducting research related to employee relations and questions about HR legislation, compliance, policies, and/or general questions in accordance with federal state guidelines. Prepares onboarding and separation documents. Facilitates mandatory and/or optional training for clients, such as online or in-person training. Conducts field work, including but is not limited to, Form I-9, file and wage and hour audits to ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws. Ongoing participation in webinars and seminars related to HR topics. Other duties as assigned based on business needs, Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources ore related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources capacity preferred. Reliable transportation and driver's license required. Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain appropriate levels of confidentialitly. Ability to work with minimum supervision and self-motivated. Ability to work with minimum supervision and self-motivated. Ability to act as a representative for the organization to the community. Experience with Microsoft Office suite - Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint, Teams. HRIS experience preferred. aPHR/PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
