Job Description Job Description Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Contract) Location: California 95482 Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract) Pay: $1,865 - $2,095/week --- Schedule * Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM * 40 hours/week (5x8s), mostly Monday-Friday * Every other weekend coverage * No call --- Position Summary & Responsibilities * Supervise lab staff and oversee all testing/POCT operations * Ensure accuracy/validity of results and regulatory compliance * Lead quality control, QA, and lab safety programs * Manage instrumentation (installation, validation, maintenance) * Train staff and support competency development * Maintain accreditation standards (CLIA, CAP, OSHA, etc.) --- Requirements * Education & Experience: * Bachelor's in CLS/Medical Technology or related field - Required * 5+ years clinical lab experience - Preferred * 2+ years leadership experience - Preferred * Experience with instrumentation installation/validation - Required * Licensure/Certifications: * Active California CLS (Generalist) License - Required * ASCP or NCA Certification - Preferred --- --- Additional Information * No call required * Vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions may apply)
