Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Duration - 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join a busy Women's Services department at a beachside acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience managing high-risk pregnancies, fetal monitoring, labor and delivery care, and postpartum patients.

Assignment Details:

• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating to Postpartum may be required based on staffing needs
• Block scheduling available at manager discretion
• Guaranteed hours provided; facility may call off one shift per two-week pay period

Required Certifications:

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA)
• NRP
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)

Clinical Experience Required:

• Fetal Heart Monitoring
• High-Risk Pregnancy Monitoring
• Vaginal Deliveries
• Cesarean Sections
• Labor and Delivery Nursing Care
