Working remotely as an independent contractor, the part-time Medical Records Technician will manage patient records, ensure compliance with regulations, and support healthcare documentation processes. Key responsibilities Manage and maintain patient medical records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation for healthcare providers Support the implementation of electronic health record systems and processes Required qualifications Certification as a Medical Records Technician or equivalent experience Knowledge of medical terminology and health information management Experience with electronic health record systems Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
