Human Resources Operations Coordinator

What You’ll Do You’ll keep KANA’s recruitment process moving by coordinating every stage of the hiring journey, including: Posting and maintaining job advertisements across multiple recruitment platforms Scheduling interviews and coordinating calendars for hiring managers and interview panels Communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process Coordinating interview logistics for both virtual and in‑person interviews Managing applicant tracking system (ATS) workflows and ensuring recruitment data remains accurate Coordinating background checks, drug screenings, and pre‑employment requirements Preparing new hires for a successful first day by coordinating onboarding activities Tracking recruitment metrics and maintaining organized hiring records Coordinating candidate travel and site visits Assisting with recruitment outreach, sourcing, and employment marketing Supporting HR projects including job descriptions, policies, employee directories, and process improvements Serving as a backup for other Human Resources functions as needed What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Two years of experience in Human Resources, recruitment coordination, administrative support, or a related field Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exceptional customer service and relationship‑building abilities High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word Preferred Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Healthcare recruitment or healthcare HR experience SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, or Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) certification, or ability to obtain certification within two years of hire Why You’ll Love This Role Keeping complex projects organized Working with people across every department Improving processes and finding efficiencies Balancing multiple priorities in a collaborative environment Being part of a team that directly impacts the growth and success of the organization Work Schedule This is a full‑time, onsite position in Kodiak, Alaska.
