Maintenance SupervisorThe Maintenance Supervisor will oversee maintenance operations using precision and preventative maintenance to maximize plant and production equipment uptime. In this role, you will be a servant leader impacting the development of craftsmen by providing coaching to ensure adherence to preferred maintenance practices to maximize efficiency and safety.How you will impact Smurfit WestrockAssist and provide direction to craftsmen of troubleshooting equipment to mitigate downtimeMonitor and approve inventory orders to control storeroom spend according to planned budgetEnsure compliance and proper use of parts and equipment according to preferred maintenance practicesOversee craftsmen's compliance with corporate, division, plant safety and environmental rules and proceduresLead development and implementation of continuous process improvement of reliability plans in the plantDemonstrate ownership of business and management goals by effectively leading craftsmen to align objectivesLead safety efforts by identifying high-risk situations, conducting safety meetings, and coordinating maintenance related safety activitiesProvide leadership and coaching in safety, training, and work allocation to uphold the standards of maximum safety for all maintenance employeesCollaborate with operations and mechanical leaders to plan, schedule and execute daily and break-in work and to increase measured reliability metricsWhat you need to succeed:2-year technical degree in a Maintenance related discipline or related work experience – Required.3+ years of maintenance supervisory leadership experience Required.
