Job Description
Job Title: Mechanical Designers
\nLocation: Merritt Island, FL
\nPay Rate: $50-60/hr. W2
\nEmployment Type: 6 months; contract-hire

\n \nROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
\n \nWe are seeking multiple mid and senior-level Mechanical Designers for an aerospace manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in tooling design or drafting looking to further their career in space systems production.
\n \n- \n
- Design and release CAD models and engineering drawings for tooling per ASME Y14.5 standards \n
- Solve technical design challenges for assembly fixtures, test equipment, and specialized machinery \n
- Manage tooling projects from concept through commissioning, including procurement, fabrication, and proof testing \n
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize safety, quality, and reliability; support root cause analyses and corrective actions \n
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

- Associates \n
- 3+ years of direct manufacturing experience with expertise in tooling design, fabrication, and procurement \n
- Proficiency with CAD software (Creo Parametric preferred), GD&T, and mechanical design fundamentals \n
- CREO is mandatory \n
- Aerospace or highly regulated industry experience \n
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
\n- \n
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC machining, welding, sheet-metal operations) and tolerance stack-up analysis \n
