Shipping & Receiving Clerk

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will be responsible for performing tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of materials, parts and supplies. May examine stock and distribute materials to inventory and/or departments.

Position Summary

This position is 100% on-site at the St. Petersburg site.

Shift: Monday - Friday hours

The Role

1. Adhere to all environmental, health and safety SOP's, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department specific requirements.
2. Prepare paperwork, Bill of Ladings for outbound shipments. Schedules delivery/pick up appointments. Unloads material from truck for inbound receipts.
3. Verifies proper documentation and labeling on product to be received and shipping. Verifies Weight/Quantities Gross, Net and Tare.
4. Interface with QC Sampling to prioritize and process raw materials in proper sequence ensuring efficient material flow off the dock and through QC.
5. Moves sampling quantity to QC put away remainder in designated warehouse location, scan, and locate.
6. Determine put away location considering specific storage requirements. Receive incoming materials against purchase orders and/or work orders using company applications (JDE 9.2 and DSI).
7. All other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Beginning software application skills required.
• Data Entry detailed and accurate.
• Traffic experience in scheduling inbound and outbound.
• PC skills (Microsoft), including training and knowledge in MRP systems. Ability to write and communicate effectively.
• Individual will be working independently and will need to prioritize the workload and multi-task with little supervision. Individual may be required to sit, stand, and walk with lifting to 50 pounds; no lifting greater than 44.09 pounds without assistance. Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines. Must be able to access the manufacturing floor.
