Utilities Project Manager

Our client, a leader in public utilities management, is seeking a Utilities Project Manager to join their team. As a Utilities Project Manager, you will be part of the Utilities Department supporting water and sewer infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Utilities Project Manager Location: Leesburg, Virginia Pay Range: $83,000 - $185,000 What's the Job? Manage the design and construction of public utility projects, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. Oversee contracts related to engineering, design, project management, and construction services. Coordinate with various stakeholders including customers, Town departments, outside agencies, and contractors. Review engineering drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure quality and adherence to standards. Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure timely project completion. What's Needed? Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in civil engineering construction or construction management, with at least three (3) years focused on water and wastewater systems. Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record. Knowledge of civil engineering principles, project management, and contract administration.
