In this role, you will have the chance to work closely with patients of all ages and conditions, creating customized treatment plans that help them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Your Role:

• Create Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and develop individualized therapy strategies that target their unique goals and challenges.
• Provide Therapeutic Interventions: Use evidence-based practices to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and functional independence in daily activities.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work alongside physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Instruct Patients and Caregivers: Educate patients and their families on how to continue therapy exercises at home and maintain progress in their recovery journey.
• Monitor and Document Progress: Regularly assess and document patients' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet evolving needs and goals.

Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in outpatient rehabilitation is preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt therapy techniques to meet the specific needs of each patient
