Job Description
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing care to optimize patient health
- Working seamlessly with other health care team members and support VA patient satisfaction initiatives
- Consulting with specialty services
- Utilizing computerized/electronic medical records
- Providing patient care in accordance with professional standards, core values and commitment to service excellence
- Performing physical examinations
- Ordering of diagnostic studies, such as laboratory tests, x-rays, electrocardiograms, etc., in the evaluation and management of acute and chronic conditions
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including nursing, pharmacy, nutrition, and other health professionals to discuss/determine the best treatment plan for patients.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
