Registered Nurse Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care to Urology patients within the outpatient clinic setting. Manages patient assessments, treatment plans, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer and monitor patient treatments, ensuring adherence to care plans.
  
  
• 
  Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and clinical data accurately.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients on procedures, management of conditions, and post-visit instructions.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care strategies.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and facility policies, including charting in EPIC.
  
  
• 
  Ensure a sterile and safe clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least one year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in urology or outpatient care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain BLS certification; ONS experience preferred.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Previous charge nurse experience is preferred.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work day shifts, 5 days a week, with flexibility for occasional floating between units.
