CNC Lathe Machine Set-up Operator/Programmer

Job Overview CNC programmer and set‑up/operator needed for a busy production machining facility. This is not an entry level position. The shop environment handles short to long run jobs and offers the opportunity to keep learning. We primarily serve aerospace, automotive, medical and sensor industries. Responsibilities Program CNC machines using Mastercam, SolidWorks or other CNC programming software. Edit G‑code manually. Set up and touch off tools. Run out jobs and operate multiple machines. Operate sub‑spindle lathes (dual turret) and live tools as required. Use Fanuc or Mori‑Seiki controllers. Qualifications Experience with Mori‑Seiki lathes. Blueprint reading. Understanding of tolerances. Use of comparators and handheld measuring instruments. Digital inspection systems. Inspection methods during production. Knowledge of CNC programming, Mastercam, SolidWorks, or similar software. Experience with sub‑spindle lathes (dual turret) and live tools. Editing G‑code manually. Setting up and touching off tools. Running out jobs. Experience with Fanuc or Mori‑Seiki controllers. Willingness to run multiple machines. Physical and drug screen required after offer.
