Degryse Electric, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Journeyman to join our dynamic team and contribute to a wide range of commercial electrical projects. From Office T.I.s to Retail, Restaurants to Medical facilities, our projects demand precision, professionalism, and a deep understanding of electrical systems. This role requires hands-on expertise in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance, with a strong emphasis on code compliance and safety.

Our Journeymen are expected to deliver high-quality workmanship while upholding our commitment to exceptional customer service and job site professionalism.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Installation & Maintenance : Execute electrical installations including panels, switch gears, outlets, lighting systems, and power for mechanical equipment from rough-in to finish.
• Code Compliance : Apply the National Electric Code in all phases of construction and ensure all work meets regulatory standards.
• Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to guide installations.
• Safety Protocols : Follow OSHA standards and company safety procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Troubleshooting : Diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with foremen, apprentices, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Client Interaction : Maintain professionalism in all client communications and job site conduct.
• Documentation : Complete work logs, service reports, and other required paperwork accurately and on time.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:

• Experience : Minimum 6+ years of commercial electrical experience; Journeyman-level proficiency required.
• Technical Skills : Strong understanding of electrical systems, tools, and safety protocols.
• Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
• Communication : Clear and professional communication with clients and team members.
• Adaptability : Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and responding to emergencies.
• Drivers License : Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be local
