Pay Range: $17.00 an hour

Hours: Hours will vary based on position, shift, and operational needs. Evening and weekend availability required.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous food service, hospitality, retail, or operations experience helpful. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to required limits. Reliable transportation is a must, buses may not run late enough for some shifts.

Skills and Knowledge: The ability to read, write, count, and follow instructions. The ability to communicate well with the public. Excellent customer service. Follow instructions and established procedures to perform duties. Must attend all required training sessions.

Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional customer service to guests at sporting events, concerts, and campus functions. Assist with food and beverage service, including serving, running food, bartending, and guest support. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Supervise and coordinate staff to ensure efficient daily operations and compliance with policies and safety standards as assigned. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (culinary, operations, logistics, and administration) to support event and dining success. Perform additional duties as assigned to support dining, catering, and event operations. Provide excellent customer service to students, guests, and event attendees. Assist with catering setup, service, and breakdown. Operate concession stands during athletic and special events. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas. Support supervisors and managers with daily operations. Follow all food safety, workplace safety, and university policies. Evening and weekend availability required.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to repeatedly lift at least 45 lbs. to waist height or higher. Must be able to walk/stand for several hours at a time throughout the shift. Must be able to perform extensive bending and flexing at the waist. Must be able to repeatedly rotate (twist and turn) head and torso. Must be able to frequently and repeatedly squat or stoop to the ground as necessary to complete tasks. Must be able to reach arms overhead. May be exposed to products used for cleaning and maintenance of the facility.
