Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that are culturally sensitive to understand each patient's unique circumstances and formulate tailored treatment plans.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker–Renewal (LCSW-R) in the state of New York.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment methodologies, and the integration of cultural competency in therapeutic practices.

• Proven experience in delivering effective individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner.

• Strong crisis management skills, with the ability to de-escalate highly anxious or distressed patients.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, fostering positive relationships with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in various software tools necessary for remote therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
