Deeper Strength Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed mental health therapist to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. This role will primarily focus on providing culturally sensitive mental health counseling to a diverse client base, ensuring that our services meet the unique needs of individuals from various backgrounds.

Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to provide care from your location while being part of a committed team. While the majority of sessions will take place virtually, there may be opportunities to engage with clients in our outpatient office setting as needed. You will work regular office hours from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique experiences and to establish tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities in individual, family, and group therapy sessions, adeptly adjusting methodologies to best support the client's cultural backgrounds and personal needs.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to provide holistic care, ensuring all aspects of each client's health are considered.

• Provide crisis intervention services and emotional support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to maintain calm under pressure.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources that promote well-being and recovery.
\n
• Ensure all client documentation is maintained accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in ongoing training sessions, case conferences, and team meetings to foster a culture of learning and collaboration.

• Stay abreast of best practices and research in the field of mental health, continuously seeking to enhance your knowledge and skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in understanding mental health disorders, employing evidence-based treatments, and applying cultural sensitivity in a therapeutic context.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.
\n
• Experience with crisis intervention and the ability to navigate complex emotional scenarios effectively.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools for efficient client management.
\n
• A committed professional who upholds ethical guidelines, patient confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

• The capability to function effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing mental health counseling in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
