Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments, allowing you to understand each patient's history and unique needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual clients, taking into account their personal and cultural backgrounds.

• Provide a variety of therapeutic services, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address mental health concerns and foster resilience.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention to support clients during mental health emergencies, ensuring timely and appropriate assistance.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and effectively integrating cultural competence into therapy.

• Demonstrable experience in delivering both individual and group therapy using culturally responsive approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
