This position operates in a completely remote format, allowing you the flexibility to manage your professional responsibilities from the comfort of your own home. You will be provided with all necessary technological tools to deliver effective therapy sessions and maintain organized case documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial interviews, assessing clients’ emotional, behavioral, and psychological health.

• Document case details meticulously from the initial consultation through to the culmination of a therapeutic relationship.
\n
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans focused on therapeutic goals that address individual, couple, or family needs.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various psychotherapy techniques based on the latest evidence and best practices.
\n
• Monitor and evaluate client progress continuously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, physicians, and social workers, to devise comprehensive intervention strategies.
\n
• Engage in regular follow-ups with healthcare providers for any client requiring hospitalization, ensuring an integrated care approach.

• Assist family members and caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges, promoting supportive environments for healing.

Our center serves a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals facing anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. As a vital member of our team, you will engage with clients from various backgrounds, ages, and walks of life. Your ability to adapt therapeutic approaches based on individual needs will be essential in fostering trust and facilitating meaningful change.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic frameworks, intervention methodologies, and recovery-oriented practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor in an outpatient or community setting.

• Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to ensure seamless client management and documentation.

• Experience in treating various mental health conditions, understanding the intersection of mental and physical health, and managing substance use disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with the guidelines established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n
