Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while maintaining strong communication with our office in Chula Vista. Our outpatient office setting ensures that you will connect with patients who benefit from intensive support yet prefer the convenience of virtual appointments. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients range widely in age and background, presenting with diverse emotional and psychological challenges. You will work with individuals, couples, and groups seeking relief from anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, and relational conflicts. Your ability to connect and empathize will be crucial in establishing trust and encouraging clients to engage in their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• An active state license or certification in California as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, where you have engaged directly with clients facing emotional and psychological challenges.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills that allow you to quickly build rapport and foster meaningful relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred, it is by no means a requirement. Familiarity with EMR software can enhance your efficiency in documenting client interactions and treatment plans.
