Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of essential tasks aimed at facilitating effective patient care:

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' mental health status and risk factors, including potential safety concerns such as suicidal ideation or self-harm.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patients' therapeutic goals, reviewing and adjusting them in regular treatment planning meetings.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and process groups to enhance patients' understanding of their mental health conditions and foster a supportive community.

• Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment updates promptly, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate discharge planning and follow-up care.

• Stay actively engaged with patients post-discharge through follow-up sessions to address ongoing needs and encourage continued progress.

• Assess and respond to changes in patients’ conditions, promptly addressing any safety concerns that arise during sessions.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in California.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
