Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify each patient's unique needs and develop personalized treatment plans that cater to their specific circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to guide individual and group therapy sessions effectively.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health challenges and fostering community among patients.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support to patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their safety and well-being.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and available community resources to promote self-advocacy and informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with both legal and ethical standards, and actively participate in case consultations and team meetings.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in mental health treatment to continuously improve therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Counselor will work with a diverse patient population, presenting with a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and co-occurring substance use issues. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure in California.
