Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining a strong emphasis on collaboration and support. You will participate in virtual team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions that foster professional growth and cultural competency. While our core working hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to align with our patients’ schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to accurately gauge patients' unique experiences and needs.

• Develop and implement tailored evidence-based treatment plans that incorporate individual patients’ cultural and personal backgrounds.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that promote resilience and holistic well-being among patients.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patients feel safe and understood.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available community resources.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient interactions in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage actively in continual learning through case conferences and cultural competency training to stay abreast of current best practices in mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in understanding mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities, remaining composed in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build trust and rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and treatment tracking.
\n
• Commitment to maintaining professional ethics, client confidentiality, and practicing within legal frameworks.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience delivering therapeutic interventions in outpatient settings, particularly in culturally responsive frameworks.

• A history of working with individuals and families from diverse and underserved communities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
