This position offers the flexibility of remote work while allowing you to connect with patients through a supportive virtual platform. The typical schedule involves working Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed based on patient requirements, ensuring continuous access to our services.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the psychological needs of children and adolescents, gathering information from parents and educators to inform a holistic view of the patient.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique development stages of each young patient, taking family dynamics into account.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy to effectively manage and treat a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with the tools needed to foster a supportive environment.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members for coordinated care efforts, participating actively in case consultations and treatment plan reviews.

• Provide crisis intervention and support plans during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of young patients.

• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment processes, mental health conditions, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional training and development activities, keeping informed about current research and advanced therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on the mental health of children and adolescents, addressing various challenges they face such as anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Our therapists work closely with young individuals, understanding their unique perspectives, and fostering resilience through tailored interventions. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in Illinois.

• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders with proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach to therapy.

• Adept at building trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
