Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing you the flexibility to support patients from the comfort of your own home while utilizing telehealth technologies. Our available virtual platforms ensure effective communication and engagement with both clients and colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes quality care. You will have regularly scheduled hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed based on patient requirements.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify and evaluate the diverse needs of children and adolescents, taking into account their unique developmental stages.

• Design and implement evidence-based treatment plans that are personalized and sensitive to family dynamics, ensuring that interventions are adequately suited to each patient.

• Deliver individual therapy and family therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to tackle symptoms related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to ensure immediate and appropriate care.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists, educators, and community resources to create a comprehensive support network for patients and their families.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, increasing their understanding of available treatment options and community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress and treatment modalities in line with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Engage actively in team meetings and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents dealing with various mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other behavioral problems. The goal is to equip these young individuals with coping strategies and emotional resilience through tailored interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Proficient knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with familiarization with evidence-based treatment approaches.
\n
• Experience in providing effective individual and family therapy to young patients.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills along with a child-centered, compassionate approach in your practice.
\n
• Comfort using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools necessary for telehealth service delivery.
\n
• A strong ability to build rapport and establish trust with both young patients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with exceptional training or related experience in child and adolescent therapy may also be considered for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
