Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to promote effective healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma and teaching them coping mechanisms to navigate life's challenges.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for each patient, particularly during crises.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, providing immediate resources and assistance to patients in need.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping strategies to enhance their support network.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.

Compensation and Benefits\n
